About Us (Aequitas)
With a focus on Queensland, Aequitas is a proactive property investment business that co-invests with private family capital across a range of commercial property opportunities.
Aequitas commenced as a part time investment vehicle for the founders Geoff McIntyre and Norman Fox. Our first group investment involving other family investors occurred in 2012 and Aequitas commenced as a full-time operating business in 2019, when Geoff McIntyre finished at JLL after 26 years.
With Brisbane’s population expected to nearly double to 4.7 million by 2066, the city and Southeast Queensland will continue to grow as an attractive investment location. The rest of Queensland’s population is projected to surpass the rest of New South Wales (excluding Sydney) by 2035, further strengthening the region’s investment appeal.
Our endeavours are primarily focused on office, industrial and retail and aimed at maintaining and growing income from these assets.
We have a unique performance model – it’s our main point of difference. We are truly aligned with our investors.
Aequitas has deployed over $150M in capital across a range of commercial investments.
